What was stuck

The challenge

  • A funded digital lending roadmap could not start because senior backend, integration and security engineers were not available in the local market at the salaries approved.
  • Every month of delay pushed the launch closer to a competitor's, while the existing IT team was already stretched across core banking change requests.
  • Technology risk obligations, including cloud and outsourcing controls, had to be documented before any external team could be engaged.
What we designed

Solution Architecture first

  • Solution Architecture phase mapping the lending journey, e-KYC, credit decisioning and core banking integration to a target architecture.
  • Security and compliance baseline aligned to the regulator's technology risk policy, with data residency and audit trail requirements built into the design.
  • A 1–2 year roadmap sequencing onboarding, origination, servicing and collections releases, with a team structure and locked budget.
